DAYTONA BEACH – The record 6-hour, 21-minute, 40-second delay during the Daytona 500 on Sunday will seem short compared to the time Dale Earnhardt Jr. will be sent around the country for the next three days.

On Tuesday he will visit the ESPN campus in Bristol, Conn., where he will appear in a variety of shows – jumping from show to show, network to network in a single day is called a car-wash – starting with the morning show “Mike and Mike.”

From there he will go to Los Angeles to appear with FOX Sports 1 and other local television interviews.

He will be at the Phoenix International Raceway on Thursday to get ready for practice and qualifying on Friday for this week’s race.
