Cold Noses: Pets of the Week

The animals featured this week will be available for adoption at the regional Mega Adoption event being held 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.Friday through Sunday at the Jacksonville fairgrounds.

Pogo is a 2-year-old male white and black Australian cattle dog. This sweet boy was a stray and needs a family to call his own. He is neutered, micro-chipped, current on shots and vaccinated against rabies. He is in the care of the Jacksonville Animal Care and Protective Services, 2020 Forest St. Adoption hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday. Phone: (904) 630-2489.

Also in the Jacksonville center’s care is Lady, an 11-year-old female black domestic short-hair cat. This pretty girl has a little bit of anxiety from being in a shelter and needs a home where she can be herself. She is spayed, current on shots, micro-chipped and vaccinated against rabies.

Darlene is a 3-year-old bulldog/lab mix. She is spayed and current on shots. She is a sweet, beautiful and loving girl who is in a kennel with another dog. Meet her at Clay County Animal Care and Control, 3984 Florida 16 W., Green Cove Springs. Adoption hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday-Friday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday.
