The arboretum joins the American Public Gardens Association and 500-plus public gardens nationwide in the annual day of awareness that honors the role public gardens play in promoting plant and water conservation, education and environmental leadership. The arboretum will also offer a 10 percent discount on “Family” or “Friend” memberships on May 9 and 10 - go to www.nationalpublicgardensday.org for information and to download the coupon.
