A 19-year-old has been charged with murder after being taken into custody by a SWAT unit Wednesday on unrelated arrests warrants, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

Le’Glenn Dyquan Milik Schofield also is charged with marijuana possession, failure to appear in court and two counts of probation violation, jail records show.

Specifics of the killing — such as the date, location and victim’s name — are not being released by police at this time. A Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman said it’s an active criminal investigation, and details could hinder further efforts in the case.

The redacted arrest report does list the crime as being gang-related.

Schofield, whose address is only listed as the 32208 ZIP code, was convicted of a pair of March 2011 attempted armed robberies. He was released from prison in July 2012.
